Genesis of a duo

In 2014, the Franco-Tunisian singer Hend met during a tour of Paris the songwriter: Léo Céra. From the first rehearsals the magic operates. Hend's crystal-clear voice marries unsettlingly with Leo's warm voice.

In February 2015, they recorded the song “Et si Anta wana”. This song written for the musical “Kandy37 @” in Montreal is the pretext for a first collaboration. This meeting between these two magnificent voices is the founding act of the duo HendéLo.

Music videos for the song was broadcast on Nessma TV Maghreb. The Hendelo group participated among others in the festival of Mediterranean encounters in Bastia, in the 5th Maghreb jazz festival at the house of Tunisia and in the Francophonie day at Unesco.

 

Hend: Soprane, composed his own poems in literary Arabic and his melodies on the music of Leo.

Léo Céra: Author, composer, performer. He composes and writes his lyrics and music, taking inspiration from his own stories.
